On paper maybe at this time, but I would wait for a few reviews before going on a shopping spree. However, if you’re a wildlife and/ sports photographer and have already invested in Nikon glass you might really like this camera.

I am really curios to see how the Nikon D500 fairs against the Canon 7D Mark II. Hopefully Digitalrev or Tony&Chelsea Northrup will pick up this challenge in a real world review.
